Putting Leadership into Action
Joseph DiTomo is dedicated to empowering and advocating for the hardworking bricklayers and allied craftworkers; members of BAC Local #1 Union. With a strong foundation in the bricklaying industry, Joseph (specifically, Tile) and Bernard (specifically, PCC) are committed to driving positive change, negotiating higher wages, improving conditions in the workplace, additional educational & safety training, and transparency / accountability across the board. This is a space to share Joseph's vision and mission, and how his experience will benefit the union and its members
Joseph's goal as President (with Bernard Griggs as his Secretary/Treasurer) is to restructure everything from the top down. His team will identify effective leadership, recruit fresh, strong leadership; and, both educate apprentices and plan for our future by instilling and reinforcing strong leadership qualities.
Lastly, Joseph plans to boost membership involvement for the members of BAC local #1 in PA & DE, utilizing technology to make the membership and leadership team one collaborative unit.
